Edit Blueprints
Update elements manually or with Chat AI, save your changes and check the result in a live email preview.
Find the Blueprint you want to edit
From the left sidebar, open Blueprints. The library shows your existing Blueprints, their categories, IDs and creation dates. Use the category filters, search by name or ID, or change the sort order to find the one you want. Open the relevant Blueprint using its row controls.
The editor has two main parts: the grouped elements on the left, and an editing or preview panel on the right.
Edit elements
Define the elements that make up your personalised outbound.
EXAMPLE MESSAGE
The example message acts as the writing reference for the Blueprint.
Edit the selected element or switch to Chat AI for guided changes.
Hello Maya,
I saw the mentoring workshops your quality engineering team has been running at Verity Labs. The Women in Technology Forum has a session on building inclusive engineering teams that I thought might be particularly useful to you. Would you like the agenda?
Use the toolbar to format your example before saving.

Editing an individual element
- Choose a group on the left, such as Main focus, Personalization sources, Your company or Writing preferences. Expand it to view its elements.
- Select View and edit beside the element you want to change. Its current value and editing controls appear on the right.
- Choose Manual to edit the value directly, or Chat AI to describe the change conversationally. The screen shows guidance and the current value so that you know what you are altering.
- Review your change and select Save all in the element editor to save the Blueprint's updated values.
- Use Preview email when you want to check the effect on the resulting message.
How the completion counters work: Numbers such as 4/4 or 4/5 beside each group show how many of its available fields currently have values. A blank optional field is not necessarily a problem.
Manual editing
In Manual, the selected element opens as an editable form or rich-text field. This is convenient when you already know exactly what to change, such as a signature, a wording rule, a link, language settings or an example message.
For example, choose Main focus → Example message → View and edit. The editor shows the saved reference message, which guides the writing structure, tone and style of emails produced with that Blueprint. You can edit and format it directly.
The example message can also contain special instructions in its text, including <Exact>...</Exact> for wording you want left unchanged and <Alternative> options for wording PitchKraft can choose between, as described in the editor's guidance.
For simpler elements—such as company name, language, footer image width or whether to use online research—the right panel presents the relevant value or control.
Editing with Chat AI
Current value: Your saved example message contains the email's greeting, offer, supporting details, call to action and closing.
What would you like to add, change or remove?
Reconstruction of the Chat AI panel based on the current interface. No account data is shown.
Select Chat AI at the top of the right-hand panel. PitchKraft opens a conversation focused on the selected element. It introduces the element, shows or summarises the current value and asks what you would like to add, change or remove.
Type your instruction in the message field. You can ask for an alternative, explain the intended audience or discuss how to improve an element rather than rewriting it yourself. The AI works on that selected element, so you can refine it without editing every part of the Blueprint.
Review the proposed outcome and use the Blueprint's save controls to confirm your changes. If you prefer direct text changes, switch back to Manual.
Example request: “Keep the same purpose, but make the hook more relevant to a technical decision-maker and avoid generic claims about innovation.”

GenerateOUTPUT
I noticed the practical workshops you're leading for junior quality engineers at Verity Labs. The Women in Technology Forum is hosting a discussion on mentoring and retaining women in technical roles. It struck me as a useful match for your team's work, so I wanted to share the session.

Save email · Edit elements
Reconstructed from the Live preview layout and example event email in the screenshots.
Select Preview email to inspect the actual style and personalisation of a generated email. The right panel provides a live preview, where you can select the contact list and recipient, move between contacts and choose Generate to produce a message.
Use the preview to check the greeting, subject, relevance, structure, formatting, visual assets and calls to action. Where offered, Save email stores your revised output. You can return to the elements editor to adjust the Blueprint if the example needs improving.
Do not confuse the Example message, which defines a reusable writing reference, with a Live preview, which demonstrates an email for a chosen contact.
Examples of useful refinements
Each change should have a purpose and can be checked in an example or live-preview email.
- Too generic: Strengthen the Hook and Personalization Search so they describe what makes an individual relevant, and what evidence to find.
- Wrong message focus: Update Theme and Example Message so the reason for writing is clear.
- Overstated personalisation: Adjust research sources and extra instructions, and verify claims before sending.
- Wrong tone or wording: Edit the example message, writing preferences, Avoid Words and extra instructions.
- Inconsistent closing: Correct the Signature and Unsubscribe Block and recheck the resulting email.

What you can change
Elements are now organised into groups rather than a single long list. The groups include Main focus, Personalization sources, Your company, Signature, Writing preferences, Dos and don'ts, Greetings & farewells, Extra assets, Images, Subject line and Custom.
