At the end of the process of creating a new blueprint using the Blueprint Builder Chat, it will generate an example output email to showcase how a typical email will look. The example output email is very important as it sets the general structure of each of the emails that will be generated in the ‘Kraft emails’ section when you start generating emails as part of your email campaign. The example output email also sets the branding, tone and style of the emails so it’s the key part of the process. That said, it doesn’t have to be perfect at the start. You can generate some emails, see how they look and then go back and change it, as often as you like.
This example output email is created based on the information you have created with the Blueprint Builder Chat, such as company details, email theme, personalization hook and personalization search. It’s always best to use the ‘Chat’ process for these fundamental elements.
If you haven’t used the Blueprint Builder Chat, you can just paste an email into the ‘Example output email’ element in the ‘Elements’ tab (for tips, take a look at the ‘Reference email‘ support section).
The Blueprint Builder Chat will first generate a pretend prospect, which is just for demonstration purposes.
The example output email is a first draft, so there is no need for it to be perfect in any way, in content or format. You can play with it later using the Blueprint Builder Chat or directly in the ‘Elements’ tab.
Now that you have generated the example output email, you can add or amend all the optional elements using the Blueprint Builder ‘Chat’ or ‘Elements’ tab.
Use the ‘Preview email’ on the right-hand side to see what the emails look like. If you haven’t added any contacts yet to use in the ‘Preview email’ section, then just hop over to ‘Contacts’ and import some or add some manually. You can edit and save the example output email directly in the ‘Email preview’ area if you like. Just remember that the ‘Email preview’ is just for tweaking rather than for the content of main elements. The example output email is to give PitchKraft the flavour of the email, so if you would like one part moving above another, text or format changes, then you can do it here and save it.
