NEW PITCHKRAFT FEATURE · EMAIL TESTING

Test your email before you send it.

Create a personalised email in Kraft Emails or Blueprint Assistant. Then check it before outreach. How likely is it to reach the inbox? Is the writing strong? Are your sending credentials configured properly?

PitchKraft combines email quality assessment, inbox-likelihood scoring, seed inbox tests, SPF/DKIM/DMARC checks and practical improvement suggestions.

Email testing that goes beyond a spam-word checker

Understand what might stop a good email from working.

An email can be well personalised and relevant but still struggle because of its wording, authentication or inbox filtering. PitchKraft checks the subject line, message content, sending-domain signals and seed inbox results in one workflow.

01

Inbox-likelihood assessment

Estimate the risk of filtering and identify email characteristics that may reduce the chance of reaching the inbox.

02

Writing quality scoring

Assess how clearly and convincingly an email is written, including the relevance and readability of its subject line and body.

03

Seed inbox placement testing

Send a test to controlled seed mailboxes and examine whether the message arrives in the inbox, is filtered into spam or has another delivery outcome.

04

SPF, DKIM and DMARC

Check email authentication signals and surface potential sender-configuration or alignment issues.

05

Subject and body analysis

Look at both the subject line and the message itself, rather than evaluating a subject or a list of trigger words in isolation.

06

Scores, advice and improvements

Understand the test results, see what deserves attention, and use specific suggestions to revise the email before sending.

Two important kinds of evidence

Inbox prediction and seed testing are not the same thing.

A predictive score estimates risk. A seed test observes how controlled test mailboxes actually handled a message. Looking at them together gives you a clearer basis for decisions.

Predictive assessment

How likely is inbox placement?

PitchKraft reviews relevant characteristics of the email and produces an assessment of likely inbox placement. It can highlight factors worth fixing before sending.

A likelihood estimate, not a guarantee

Observed seed results

Where did a test message land?

Seed inbox checks provide observations from controlled mailboxes, including inbox, spam or other delivery outcomes. They help diagnose real-world filtering of a test message.

Observed test placement

A seed test is evidence about that test and sending setup, not a guarantee for every recipient. Delivery and folder placement can differ because of sender reputation, recipient history and mailbox-provider decisions.

Sending-domain checks

Check SPF, DKIM and DMARC as well as the copy.

Good writing alone cannot overcome serious authentication problems. The feature checks these important technical signals alongside the content and provides guidance where issues are found.

SPF

Checks information about which sending servers are authorised for your domain, helping reveal potential configuration issues.

DKIM

Checks the signing information used to authenticate a message and protect its integrity.

DMARC

Checks the policy and authentication alignment associated with the domain shown in the sender address.

Authentication helps legitimate messages be recognised, but passing SPF, DKIM and DMARC does not guarantee inbox placement. For more detail, read our email authentication guide.

From message to informed send

Write. Test. Review. Improve.

Whether you are working in Kraft Emails or Blueprint Assistant, the point of testing is to make the next decision easier: identify what deserves attention and improve the message before a campaign goes out.

01

Create

Prepare your personalised email in Kraft Emails or Blueprint Assistant.

02

Test

Run the content, inbox-likelihood, seed-inbox and authentication checks.

03

Understand

Read the scores and explanations across the different test areas.

04

Improve

Apply useful suggestions to the subject, body or sending setup, then retest.

More than a numerical score

Some issues require a better subject line or clearer writing. Others need changes to the sending-domain setup. The recommendations help distinguish the two.

Better content still matters

  • Make the subject specific and clear.
  • Keep the body relevant, concise and credible.
  • Make the next step easy to understand.
  • Use the feedback to guide another test.

Frequently asked questions

Email deliverability testing questions.

What exactly does the email testing feature check?

It reviews the email subject line and body, provides scores and improvement advice, assesses likely inbox placement, checks SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and tests placement using seed mailboxes.

Can I test emails from both Kraft Emails and Blueprint Assistant?

Yes. The feature is for emails created in Kraft Emails and Blueprint Assistant, allowing you to review generated copy and technical deliverability signals before using it.

Does a strong score guarantee delivery to the inbox?

No. The score is an estimate. Mailbox providers also consider sender reputation, previous activity, recipient preferences, engagement and the circumstances of each message.

What is a seed inbox test?

It uses controlled email accounts to observe where a test message is placed. Inbox, spam and other results give you diagnostic evidence for that particular test. They do not predict the outcome for every real recipient.

Why are SPF, DKIM and DMARC checked?

These authentication methods help receiving systems decide whether a sender is authorised and a message is authentic. SPF concerns authorised senders, DKIM concerns cryptographic signing, and DMARC provides a policy and alignment framework connecting authentication to the sender domain.

Will I get suggestions for improving the email?

Yes. The feature provides scoring, feedback and suggestions, helping you decide which subject-line, body-copy or sending-configuration issues to address.

What is the difference between delivery and inbox placement?

A message can be accepted by a recipient’s mail server without appearing in the primary inbox. It may reach a spam folder instead. That is why seed placement, content assessment and authentication checks are considered separately.

Write it. Test it. Improve it. Then send.

Check the subject, message, sender authentication and seed-inbox evidence before making your next outreach decision.
