Blast 10,000 emails at once from a cold IP and you’ll get throttled or blocked. Timing, frequency, and warming up your sending domain are too important to be ignored.

Content & spam triggers

If your email looks like spam or screams ‘FREE MONEY!!!’, then filters will notice. Poor grammar, spammy keywords, too many links or images all can hurt. The exact same email, changed just for names and maybe a tailored first sentence, being sent out to every recipient is clearly not a transactional email. The ISPs are watching. A well-crafted hyper-personalized email doesn’t suffer from these issues.

 

List quality

A clean, engaged list is a goldmine. A bloated list full of dead addresses and disinterested folks will drag you down fast.
